Information trouvée : André Merlin . He has been appointed Chief Executive Officer of the French Transmission System Operator (RTE) in May 2000 by the French Minister of Industry. He has been elected in June 2001 as President of ETSO, the European Transmission System Operators Association, and in October 2002 as President of the European Energy and Transport Forum, consultative committee of the European Commission. He is also the Chairman of the French chapter of the International Council on Large High Voltage Electric Systems (CIGRE) and a member of the General Assembly of the Union for the Co-ordination of Transmission of Electricity (UCTE). Prior to the creation of the French Transmission System Operator, Mr Merlin held a variety of managing positions in Electricité de France's R&D,
