Information trouvée : Thomas Mayo Magoon, a retired University of Maryland psychology professor and director
of the school's counseling center, died January 1, 2005, at the age of 82. Dr. Magoon,
who worked at the university from 1955 to 1988, founded and had been director of the
National Counseling Center Data Bank, an annual survey of counseling centers. Dr.
Magoon was born in Lancaster, New Hampshire, and served in the Army in the Pacific
during World War II. He also spent time in the Army's specialized training program
in personnel psychology, studying with psychologists at the University of California
at Berkeley.
