Veteran film actor Amrish Puri, who through his distinct style coupled with a husky voice lent a new touch to the character of the villain the most famous as the evil Mogamboʺ in Mr Indiaʺ died at a city hospital following a brain haemorrhage here today.Amrish Puri, the younger brother of character actor Madan Puri, made his Bollywood debut at the age of 40 with Reshma aur Sheraʺ. He subsequently featured in Shyam Benegal's films like Nishantʺ and Manthanʺ. In a career spanning over three decades, Puri acted in over 200 films, notable ones being Vidhataʺ, Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayengeʺ and Chachi 420ʺ.
