Information trouvée : "Bishop David Motiuk was born in Vegreville, Alberta and raised in nearby Lavoy. He is the youngest of five children of a religious family. After studying computer science and business applications, he entered Holy Spirit Seminary in Ottawa and studied at Saint Paul University where he attained his Bachelor's in theology. Ordained to the priesthood in 1988, he was granted his Master's and licenciate in Canon Law at Saint Paul University in 1989. He completed his doctorate in Eastern Canon Law at the Pontifical Oriental Institute in Rome 1996. He served as Rector of Holy Spirit Ukrainian Catholic Seminary in Ottawa from 1996 to 2001 and was a frequent sessional lecturer at Saint Paul University, teaching in the Faculty of theology (metropolitan Andrey Sheptytsky Institute of Eastern Christian Studies) and the Faculty of Canon Law. He serves as canonical advisor on the Code of Canons of the Eastern Churches at the national, diocesan and local levels. Bishop David was ordained to the episcopacy in June 2002."
