Information trouvée : Professor Achiel Van Cauwenberghe, born on April 9, 1935 in Ghent (Belgium) took both his Master degrees in chemical and electrical engineering in Ghent in 1958 and '61 and a M.S.Engineering degree from Princeton University, USA in 1962. He acquired a Special Doctorate (D.Sc.) in Applied Science from Ghent University in 1965. In 1969 he became full professor in control engineering and Director of the Automatic Control Laboratory at the University of Gent (Belgium).
