Note publique d'information :

Note publique d'information :
MicrOmega/IR is an ultra miniaturized spectral microscope: it illuminates and images samples a few mm in size with a spatial sampling of 20 micrometer, and it acquires the near-infrared (0.9 to 2.6 micrometer) spectrum of each resolved pixel in more than 320 contiguous spectral channels. The goal of this instrument is to analyse the composition of collected samples at almost their grain size scale, in a purely non destructive manner, to enable further complementary analyses to be performed on the same samples. We will present the major instrumental development and specifications of MicrOmega/IR. Indeed the monochromator is based on an acousto optic tunable filter (AOTF). This device does not have any mechanism and offer great performances. This thesis presents the study of this device and its use in the optical scheme of the instrument. We discuss about its adaptation to the Martian environment and its performances. We have also realized a full demonstrator of the instrument and we present the results on Martian Analogs.
